Raila Amolo Odinga, the leader of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition party, was one of the four candidates for president in the recently held general elections on August 9. According to the official announcement made by Wafula Chebukati, the chairman of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, William Samoei Ruto clearly won the election.
Despite the fact that the situation in the nation is as described above, Raila and his Azimio crew have now contested the results and are preparing to move the Kenyan Supreme Court to annul Ruto’s election as the country’s fifth president.
While implying this on Sunday, Raila has stated that starting on Monday, they will show the world how their win was fraudulent.
The Azimio wing has insisted that the results of the presidential election as published by Chebukati were inaccurate, and it has vowed to retrieve its victory by legal and constitutional means.
The nation’s highest court must still examine the Azimio petition and conduct a thorough investigation before deciding what should be done regarding the just finished presidential elections
