Speaker of the Senate Ken Lusaka has broken silence after President Uhuru Kenyatta’s address in Mombasa that targeted Deputy President William Ruto saying that lever again should a Kenyan suffer or be driven to poverty because of medical bills.
This comes just moments after Uhuru launched the Universal Health Coverage (UHC) programme in Mombasa which turned political as leaders among them President Uhuru Kenyatta attacked Deputy President William Ruto.
It was a blow after blow for DP Ruto as speaker after speaker disparaged him accusing him of sabotaging Uhuru’s administration.
“Niliwambia hii mambo ya kutanga tanga, wakasema niwache wao watange tange. I let them be, what do they want me to say now?” posed the President.
Here is Lusaka’s twit
“At the launch of the scale up of the Universal Healthcare Coverage (UHC) by H.E. President Uhuru Kenyatta, colleagues in Government and wananchi. | Changamwe, Mombasa. Never again should a Kenyan suffer or be driven to poverty because of medical bills.”
