Nominated senator Isaac Mwaura is the latest politician allied to the United Democratic Alliance front to share details of the power-sharing MoU that exists between Deputy President William Ruto and Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi.
Reports are rife about Musalia Mudavadi being named the Chief minister should William Ruto ascend to power after the next general elections, claims that have been refuted by the party as false stories being propagated by their rivals.
While speaking during the Kiririmbi show, Senator Mwaura stated that the reports by the Nation and the Standard that Mudavadi will be the chief minister were accurate.
The legislator was the right fit to take over the finance docket in order to resurrect the dwindling economic fortunes of Kenyans and highlighted how his major announcement on the importance of reviving the economy was the key highlight.
“What Mudavadi and Ruto agreed upon is that Ruto will be the Presidential candidate while the DP slot will go to the Mountain. As stated in the newspapers, Mudavadi will seek the Chief Minister in charge of Finance. During his earthquake speech, he stressed the necessity of reviving the economy.” Mwaura stated.
