Ever since the novel coronavirus hit and spread across the world like wild fire, many governments took stringent measures to curb it and protect it’s citizens. Among the measures that were taken include and not limited to mass vaccination.
The government of Uganda under the leadership of president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni like many other governments introduced forced vaccination to ensure no further spread of the virus.
In his presidential order, Museveni has issued an ultimatum to all Ugandans who have refused to take the corona jab. Upon expiration of the given time schedule, all unvaccinated Ugandans will face six months jail term.
The head of state however said that the order was to compel people to take up the vaccine saying it was for their own good.
“We can’t continue risking other people’s lives because of few people who have refused to obey a simple instruction. We will jail those who will not be vaccinated soon,” Museveni said.
